บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียน ก่อนและหลังเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ของนักเรียน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/2 โรงเรียนเตรียมอุดมศึกษา ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 23 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2556 จำนวน 40 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ มี 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและแบบวัดความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ การดำเนินการวิจัยใช้รูปแบบ One Group Pretest-Posttest Design สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที (t-test ชนิด Dependent Samples)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ เรื่อง นิทานพื้นบ้านอาเซียน กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 84.18/83.55 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่ตั้งไว้

2. ความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนที่เรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ เรื่อง นิทานพื้นบ้านอาเซียน กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ สำหรับนักเรียน ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียน สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

3. ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติมภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ เรื่อง นิทานพื้นบ้านอาเซียน กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) to develop a supplementary reading books titled Asean Folktales of English Learning Substance Group for Mathayom Suksa 4 students at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast with the efficiency criterion of 75/75, 2) to compare English reading proficiency of the students learned through a supplementary reading books Titled Asean Folktales of English Learning Substance Group for Mathayom Suksa 4 students at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast,and 3) the students’ satisfaction towards a developed supplementary reading book.

The samples, obtained through Cluster Random Sampling, were 40 students Mathayom Suksa 4/2 at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 23 in the first semester of academic year 2013.

The research instruments were: 1) lesson plans 2) an English reading test, 3) the students’ satisfaction form. The One Group Pretest–Posttest Design was utilized in the study. The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test (Dependent Samples).

The results of the research were:

1. The efficiency of Supplementary Reading Books titled ASEAN Folktales of English Learning Substance Group for Mathayom Suksa 4 students at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast was 84.18/83.55, which was higher than the set criteria.

2. The effects of English Reading achievement of Matthayom Suksa 4 students after learning through Supplementary Reading Books titled ASEAN Folktales of English Learning Substance Group for Mathayom Suksa 4 students at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast were higher than their pretest at .01 level of significance.

3. After the intervention, the students’ satisfaction towards the Supplementary Reading Books titled ASEAN Folktales of English Learning Substance Group for Mathayom Suksa 4 students at Traimudomsuksa School of the Northeast was at a high level.
