บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย เพื่อ 1) พัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) หาค่าดัชนีประสิทธิผลของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ตามเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 50 3) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้การอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามาก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน และ 4) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2556 โรงเรียนโพนพิทยาคม อำเภอโพนนาแก้ว จังหวัดสกลนคร จำนวน 35 คน ซึ่งได้จากการเลือกแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling)

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลอง ได้แก่ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา จำนวน 5 แผน แบบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์ และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ย โดยใช้ t-test ชนิด Dependent Samples

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ประสิทธิภาพของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา มีค่าเท่ากับ 76.68/78.76 ซึ่งสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ คือ 75/75   

2. ดัชนีประสิทธิผลของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.67

3. ความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการสอนด้วยกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้เพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

4. นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อกิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิเคราะห์โดยใช้เทคนิคการอ่านแบบพาโนรามา ในระดับมาก ( = 3.91)

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) to develop the learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability of Mattayom Suksa 4 students by using PANORAMA reading model to meet the standard criteria of 75/75, 2) to find an effectiveness index of the developed learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability which was constructed  by using PANORAMA reading model, 3) to compare the students’ critical English reading abilities obtained before and after they had learnt through the developed learning activities, and 4) to investigate the students’ satisfaction of learning through the developed learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability which was constructed by using PANORAMA reading model.

The subjects were 35 Mattayom Suksa 4/1 students who were studying in the second semester of the academic year 2013 at Phonpithayakom School, Phonnakaew District, Sakon Nakhon Province. They were gained by cluster random sampling.

The instruments used for the experiment included 5 learning plans to enhance the critical English reading ability which were constructed by using PANORAMA reading model, the test to measure the students’ critical English reading abilities, and the questionnaire to survey the students’ satisfaction of learning through the activities to enhance the critical English reading ability constructed by using PANORAMA reading model. The statistics used for data analysis consisted of mean, percentage, standard deviation, and t–test (Dependent Samples).

The study unveiled the following results:

1. The learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability of Mattayom Suksa 4 students by using PANORAMA reading model contained the efficiency of 76.68/78.76 which was higher than the set criterion of 75/75.

2. An effectiveness index of the developed learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability constructed by using PANORAMA reading model was 0.67.

3. After the students had learnt through the develop learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability constructed by using PANORAMA reading model, their critical English reading ability was statistically higher than that before at .01 level of significance.

4. The students’ satisfaction of learning activities to enhance the critical English reading ability constructed by using PANORAMA reading model was at the high level ( = 3.91).
