บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของหนังสือนิทานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน ที่เรียนโดยใช้หนังสือนิทานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ และ 3) ศึกษาเจตคติของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนรู้โดยใช้หนังสือนิทานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดจำปาหล่อ สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาอ่างทอง ที่กำลังศึกษาในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 20 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluser Random Sampling)

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) หนังสือนิทานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ จำนวน 3 เล่ม 2) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 3) แบบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ 4) แบบวัดเจตคติ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation) และร้อยละ (Percentage) โดยใช้การทดสอบค่า t-test แบบ Dependent Samples

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. หนังสือนิทานที่สร้างขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพเท่ากับ 82.58/80.17 สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดไว้ คือ 75/75

2. ความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีวินัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

3. เจตคติของผู้เรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้หนงัสือนิทานเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ( = 4.70)

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) develop the Tale Books to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6 to meet efficiency criteria of 75/75, 2) to compare compare comprehension reading abilities for Prathom Suksa 6 students gained before and after they had learnt by using the developed Tale Books to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6, and 3) to examine the students’ attitudes toward learning by using the developed Tale Books to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6. The samples consisted of students of Prathom Suksa 6 in the second semester of 2015 academic year at Watchampalor School under the Angthong Primary Educational Service Area Office. They were obtained by Cluster Random sampling.

The instruments used were 1) Tale Books to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6, 2) Lessen plans, 3) a test to measure English reading abilities for Prathom Suksa 6, 4) a questionnaire to survey the student’s attitude. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, percentage, and t-test Dependent Samples.

The results of this research revealed that:

1. The efficiency of the Tale’s Books were 82.58/80.17 which was higher than the criteria of 75/75.

2. Tale Books to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6 posttest average scores were higher than pretest average scores at .01 level of significance.

3. The student’s attitudes toward learning by using the developed Tale Books of to enhance English reading comprehension abilities for Prathom Suksa 6 posttest average scores was at the highest level ( = 4.70).
