บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) พัฒนาหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 3) ศึกษาเจตคติของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ศึกษาเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3/1 บ้านโนนสะอาด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาหนองคาย เขต 2 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 29 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 10 แผนรวมเวลา 20 ชั่วโมง แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจเป็นแบบปรนัย จำนวน 30 ข้อ และแบบทดสอบวัดเจตคติต่อการเรียนรู้ด้วยหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 20 ข้อ เป็นแบบมาตราส่วนประมาณค่าตามลิเคอร์ท การดำเนินการวิจัยใช้รูปแบบกลุ่มเดียวทดสอบก่อนและหลังการเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและการทดสอบแบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน และค่าเครื่องมือวัดทั้ง 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ ค่าความยากง่าย ค่าอำนาจจำแนก และค่าความเชื่อมั่น
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
1. หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 มีประสิทธิภาพ 77.28/78.62 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 75/75 ที่ตั้งไว้
2. ความสามารถทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจของนักเรียนที่เรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้หนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
3. เจตคติของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนด้วยหนังสืออ่านเพิ่มเติม เรื่อง Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการสอนภาษาเพื่อการสื่อสาร สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก ( = 0.91)
Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop supplementary reading packages of English Learning Substance Group for Pratom Suksa 3 students with the efficiency criterion of 75/75, 2) to compare English reading comprehension ability of the students who learned through the developed supplementary reading packages, and 3) to study the students’ attitude towards the developed supplementary reading packages. The samples obtained by Cluster Random Sampling, were 29 Pratom Suksa 3/1 students at Ban Non Sa Ard School under the Office of Primary Educational Service Nongkhai Area 2 in the second semester of Academic Year 2015.
The research instruments were: 1) the lesson plans with learning activities developed from the supplementary reading packagesbased on communicative language teaching for Prathom Suksa 3 students, 2) an English reading ability test, 3) the assessment form to measure the students’ attitudes toward the supplementary reading packagesbased on communicative language teaching for Prathom Suksa 3 students. The study was designed by One Group Pretest–Posttest. The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test (Dependent samples).
The results of the research were:
1. The efficiency of the supplementary reading packages titled Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai for English Learning Substance Group for Pratom Suksa 3 students at Ban Non Sa Ard School was 77.28/78.62, which was higher than the set criteria.
2. The English reading comprehension ability of Pratom Suksa 3 students after learning through the supplementary reading book titled Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai was higher than their pretest mean scores .05 level of significance.
3. The students’ attitude toward the developed supplementary reading packages titled Welcome to the Wonderful Land of Nongkhai was at a high level. ( = 0.91).
