บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความสามารถในการอ่านและความมีวินัยในตนเองของนักเรียนที่อ่านหนังสือไม่ออก ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านบ่อเดือนห้า สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสกลนคร เขต 1 2) ศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านและความมีวินัยในตนเอง ของนักเรียน และ 3) พัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านและความมีวินัยในตนเองของนักเรียน ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยที่ใช้การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ (Action Research) กลุ่มเป้าหมาย จำนวน 9 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย เครื่องมือคัดกรองนักเรียนที่อ่านหนังสือไม่ออก แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 16 แผน แบบบันทึกพฤติกรรมของนักเรียน แบบทดสอบย่อยประจำแต่ละแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่าน แบบทดสอบการอ่านคำและแบบประเมินความมีวินัยในตนเอง สถิติที่ใช้คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. นักเรียนที่มีปัญหาในการอ่านทั้ง 9 คน มีลักษณะสภาพปัญหาในการอ่านแตกต่างกัน คือ มีปัญหาในการอ่านออกเสียงพยัญชนะไทยบางตัวไม่ถูกต้อง อ่านสระภาษาไทยบางตัวไม่ถูกต้อง อ่านคำที่ประสมสระเดี่ยวไม่มีตัวสะกด บางคำไม่ถูกต้อง อ่านคำที่ประสมสระประสมไม่มีตัวสะกดบางคำไม่ถูกต้อง อ่านคำที่มีตัวสะกดตรงตามมาตราและไม่ตรงตามมาตราบางคำไม่ถูกต้อง และผลจากจากการประเมินคุณลักษณะที่พึงประสงค์ของนักเรียนที่มีปัญหาในการอ่าน พบว่า นักเรียนที่มีปัญหาในการอ่านทั้ง 9 คน มีคุณลักษณะที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ในด้านวินัยในตัวเอง ขาดการควบคุมพฤติกรรมของตนเอง คือ แต่งกายไม่สะอาดไม่ถูกระเบียบ มาเรียนไม่สม่ำเสมอ เข้าเรียนไม่ตรงเวลา เตรียมอุปกรณ์การเรียนมาไม่ครบ ไม่ตั้งใจฟังครู ไม่ตั้งใจปฏิบัติงาน งานไม่เสร็จตามกำหนดเวลา ปฏิบัติงานไม่มีระเบียบ ไม่เก็บอุปกรณ์เข้าที่ ไม่เข้าแถวรับและส่งงานและไม่จัดโต๊ะเรียนให้เป็นระเบียบ

2. แนวทางการพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่าน และความมีวินัยในตนเอง พบว่ามีแนวทางการพัฒนา 3 แนวทาง คือ 1) การฝึกการอ่านภาษาไทยโดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาไทย 6 ชุด ควบคู่กับแผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 16 แผน รายบุคคล 2) การสร้างข้อตกลงร่วมกันระหว่างครูและนักเรียนเพื่อสร้างวินัยในตนเอง และ 3) การเสริมแรงนักเรียนอย่างเหมาะสมและสม่ำเสมอ

3. ผลการพัฒนาการด้านการอ่าน และความมีวินัยในตนเองของนักเรียน พบว่า นักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายทั้ง 9 คน มีพัฒนาการด้านการอ่าน และความมีวินัยในตนเองดีขึ้น โดยที่นักเรียนทุกคนมีความสามารถในการอ่านคำ ผ่านเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ที่ ร้อยละ 80 ของคำที่กำหนด และมีวินัยในตนเองอยู่ในระดับสูง บรรลุตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้

Abstract

This study aimed: 1) to investigate problem states of ability in reading and self-discipline, 2) to investigate guidelines for the development of ability in reading and self-discipline, and 3) to develop ability in reading and self-discipline of illiterate Prathom Suksa 2 students at Ban Bo Duean Ha School under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Education Service Area 1. The target group of 9 students was included in study. The methodology employed was action research. The instruments used in study comprised: 1) a tool used to screen students for illiteracy, the learning management plans, the reading skill, the form exercises for recording students’ behavior, and the word reading test, and self–discipline evaluation form. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage and mean

Findings of the study disclosed as follows:

1. The state of illiteracy of the target group was that all of 9 students had problems in making a mistake of reading aloud some consonants. They made a mistake in reading aloud a combined vowel; they made a mistake in reading aloud the single vowel words without a final consonant; and they made a mistake in reading aloud the combined vowel words without a final consonant. The result of assessing the desirable characteristics of the students who had a problem in reading, it was found that all of 9 students lacked self-discipline of controlling self-behavior in willingness to learn as well as maintaining good order in the aspects as follows: unclean and untidy dress, rarely attending the class, unpunctual in attending the class, being not fully prepared with school supplies, not paying attention to the teacher, working without intention, work not being finished on schedule, unsystematically working, not storing the equipment into place, being not in line to receive or submit their work, and making a mess on their desks.

2. The guidelines for the development of ability in reading and self-discipline were found in 3 ways: 1) training of reading the Thai language through the use of a series of 6 exercises in Thai reading skill as an individual or group together with 16 plans of learning management, 2) creating joint agreement between the teacher and students for establishing self-discipline, and 3) reinforcing students properly and consistently.

3. The results of developing the aspects of students’ reading and self-discipline showed that the target group of 9 students had better development of reading and self-discipline. All of them were able to pass reading the words at the criterion set at 80% of the prescribed words, and had self-discipline at high level and achieved the target having been set in advance.
