บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยปฏิบัติการในชั้นเรียนโดยมีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านและการเขียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ภายหลังการเรียนโดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ ร่วมกับการใช้สื่อประสม การเสริมแรง และเพื่อนช่วยเพื่อน กับเกณฑ์ที่ตั้งไว้ที่ร้อยละ 70 ของคะแนนเต็ม และ 2) เปรียบเทียบความก้าวหน้าด้านการอ่านและการเขียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ที่เรียนโดยใช้วิธีการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ ร่วมกับการใช้สื่อประสม การเสริมแรง และเพื่อนช่วยเพื่อน กับเกณฑ์ดัชนีความก้าวหน้า (E.I.) ที่ตั้งไว้ที่ร้อยละ 50 ขึ้นไป กลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โรงเรียนบ้านศรีเมือง สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาอุดรธานี เขต 3 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2564 จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน รวมทั้งสิ้น 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านและการเขียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ และ 2) ชุดกิจกรรมการพัฒนาความสามารถด้านการอ่านและการเขียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และดัชนีความก้าวหน้า (E.I.) ผลการวิจัย สรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ความสามารถด้านการอ่านคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนหลังการพัฒนา ผลคะแนนเฉลี่ยรวมร้อยละ 83.20 และค่าดัชนีความก้าวหน้าเฉลี่ยรวมร้อยละ 82.72 เมื่อพิจารณานักเรียนเป็นรายบุคคลผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินทุกคน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 2. ความสามารถด้านการเขียนคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนหลังการพัฒนา ผลคะแนนเฉลี่ยรวมร้อยละ 82.80 และค่าดัชนีความก้าวหน้าเฉลี่ยรวมร้อยละ 82.45 เมื่อพิจารณานักเรียนเป็นรายบุคคลผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินทุกคน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100

Abstract

The purposes of this classroom action research were to 1) compare the target students’ English reading and writing vocabulary ability after using phonics method integrated with multimedia, reinforcement, and peer-assisted learning with the pass criterion of 70 percent, and 2) compare the target students’ progress in reading and writing English vocabulary ability after using phonics method integrated with multimedia, reinforcement, and peer-assisted learning with the effectiveness index (E.I.) of more than 50 percent. The target students consisted of ten Prathomsuksa 1 students from Bansrimueang school under Udonthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in the first semester of the academic year 2021. The research instruments included 1) a test assessing students’ reading and writing English vocabulary ability, and 2) an activity package for developing reading and writing English vocabulary ability. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, and the effectiveness index (E.I.). The findings were as follows: 1. The students’ English reading ability after the intervention passed the assessment criterion with a mean score of 83.20 percent and the effectiveness index of 82.72 percent. When assessing individual students’ English reading ability, all students achieved the pass criterion, accounting for 100 percent. 2. The students’ English writing ability after the intervention passed the assessment criterion with a mean score of 82.80 percent, the effectiveness index criteria of 82.45 percent. When assessing individual students’ English writing ability, all students achieved the pass criterion, accounting for 100 percent.
