บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาไทยของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ตามกระบวนการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2/1 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2554 โรงเรียนอนุบาลสว่างแดนดิน สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสกลนคร เขต 2 จำนวน 4 คน

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) ชุดกิจกรรม จำนวน 7 ชุด 2) แบบบันทึกข้อมูลประจำวัน 3) แบบบันทึกพฤติกรรมของนักเรียน 4) แบบทดสอบย่อย และ 5) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาไทย

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ มีขั้นตอนการปฏิบัติ 4 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ ขั้นวางแผน ขั้นปฏิบัติการ  ขั้นสังเกตติดตามและประเมินผล และขั้นสะท้อนผลเพื่อการปรับปรุง มีการดำเนินการ 7 วงรอบ คือ วงรอบที่ 1   ฝึกทักษะการอ่านพยัญชนะไทย วงรอบที่ 2 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านสระในภาษาไทย วงรอบที่ 3 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านแจกลูกสะกดคำและอ่านคำประสมสระเดี่ยวที่ไม่มีตัวสะกด วงรอบที่ 4 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านแจกลูกสะกดคำและอ่านคำประสมสระประสมที่ไม่มีตัวสะกด วงรอบที่ 5 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านแจกลูกสะกดคำและอ่านคำประสมสระเกิน วงรอบที่ 6 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านแจกลูกสะกดคำและอ่านคำที่มีตัวสะกดตรงตามมาตรา วงรอบที่ 7 ฝึกทักษะการอ่านประโยคง่ายๆ โดยนำข้อมูลที่ได้ จากการรวบรวมผลการปฏิบัติในแต่ละวงรอบ มาวิเคราะห์และปรับปรุงแก้ไขเพื่อการพัฒนาในวงรอบต่อไป ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณวิเคราะห์โดยใช้สถิติพื้นฐาน คือ หาค่าร้อยละ และค่าเฉลี่ย

ผลการดำเนินการวิจัย พบว่า นักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายหลังได้รับการพัฒนาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาไทย ตามกระบวนการวิจัยปฏิบัติการ มีความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาไทย ดังนี้

1.  นักเรียนอ่านพยัญชนะและสระในภาษาไทยผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินที่กำหนดไว้ร้อยละ 100 ของคะแนนเต็ม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด

2.  นักเรียนอ่านคำผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินที่กำหนดไว้ร้อยละ 80 ของคะแนนเต็ม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด

3.  นักเรียนอ่านประโยคง่ายๆ ผ่านเกณฑ์การประเมินที่กำหนดไว้ร้อยละ 80 ของคะแนนเต็ม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 ของจำนวนนักเรียนทั้งหมด

นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า การวิจัยปฏิบัติการร่วมกับการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ชุดกิจกรรมฝึกทักษะการอ่านภาษาไทย โดยนำเทคนิคการเสริมแรงทางบวก และการช่วยเหลือจากเพื่อนคนเก่งมาใช้ทำให้นักเรียนมีความกระตือรือร้นในการเรียน มีความมั่นใจในการอ่าน และเรียนอย่างมีความสุข ส่งผลให้นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการอ่านเพิ่มขึ้น เกิดความภาคภูมิใจในตนเอง และมีนิสัยรักการอ่านมากขึ้น

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop reading ability in Thai for Prathom Suksa 2 students through action research process. The target group was 4 Prathom Suksa 2/1 students in the first semester of 2011 academic year at Anubansawangdaendin School under the Office of Sakon Nakhon Primary Educational Service Area 2.

The instruments for this research were: 1) the 7 Thai instructional packages, 2) the daily data form, 3) the students behavior form, 4) the subdivided test and 5) the reading ability test in Thai.

The action research was used in this research.  There were 4 phases for this research consisting of planning, acting, observing and evaluating. There were 7 action spirals of procedure consistjng of action spiral 1 : practice reading skill in Thai consonants, action spiral 2 : practice reading skill in Thai vowels, action spiral 3 : practice reading skill of spelling compound words with single vowel without final consonants, action spiral 4 : practice reading skill of spelling compound words with compound vowels without final consonants, action spiral 5 : practice reading skill of spelling and compound words with other vowels, action spiral 6 : practice reading skill of spelling and words with final consonants, and action spiral 7 : practice reading skill of simple sentences. The collected data of each action spiral were analyzed and improved to develop the next action spiral. The quantitative data were then analyzed by the fundamental statistics such as percentage and mean.

The findings showed that the target group gained reading ability in Thai after the development of reading ability in Thai based on action research process as follows:

1.  Reading consonants and vowels in Thai were 100 percent prescribed the criteria and 100 percent of all students.

2.  Reading words were 80 percent prescribed the criteria and 100 percent of all students.

3.  Reading simple sentences were 80 percent prescribed the criteria and 100 percent of all students.

In addition, the findings showed that the action research with Thai instructional packages, positive reinforcement technique and scaffolding effected the learning activeness, reading confidence and learning happiness of the students. The students gained more reading ability, self–satisfied and more getting into the habit of reading.
