บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory Action Research) หรือ PAR เป็นการวิจัยประยุกต์ที่รวมแนวคิดของการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Action Research) กับการวิจัยแบบมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory Research) เข้าด้วยกัน มีองค์ประกอบสำคัญ คือ การวิจัย (Research) การปฏิบัติ (Action) และการมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory) มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อแก้ปัญหาและพัฒนาสังคม โดยอาศัยการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้คนในชุมชน กระบวนการและผลลัพธ์ของการวิจัยจะสร้างให้เกิดการเรียนรู้และการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม ตลอดจนได้องค์ความรู้ใหม่ และพัฒนาผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องให้มีศักยภาพในการแสวงหาความรู้อย่างเป็นระบบ มีการเรียนรู้ มีวิธีคิดในการแก้ปัญหาด้วยตนเอง เมื่อการวิจัยเสร็จสิ้นลง กระบวนการวิจัยจะยังคงอยู่และเกิดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาใหม่ๆ ที่จะเข้ามาในชุมชน จุดเน้นสำคัญของ PAR คือ การสะท้อนคิด การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ และการเพิ่มพูนความรู้ PAR จะนำไปสู่การปลดปล่อย การเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจ และการเรียนรู้ บทบาทของ PAR ในทางการศึกษา เริ่มขึ้นในช่วงทศวรรษที่ 1940 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยโคลัมเบีย ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา โดย Stephen Corey และคณะ ต่อมาในช่วงปลายทศวรรษที่ 1950 ได้ลดความนิยมลง เนื่องจากมีการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์กันว่าเป็นงานวิจัยที่ไม่มีการควบคุมเชิงปริมาณ ใช้สถิติง่ายๆไม่ซับซ้อน ดำเนินการโดยครูที่เป็นนักวิจัยสมัครเล่นและไม่เป็นวิทยาศาสตร์ ในช่วงทศวรรษที่ 1970 ได้ถูกนำกลับมาใช้อีกครั้งในประเทศบราซิล โดย Paulo Freire Freire และได้รับความนิยมอย่างแพร่หลาย กระบวนการวิจัยของ PAR ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์มากมายต่อแวดวงการศึกษา โดยเฉพาะประโยชน์ที่เกิดขึ้นกับนักเรียนและครู รวมถึงการปรับปรุงหลักสูตร การปรับปรุงคุณภาพและมาตรฐานการศึกษา กระบวนการ PAR ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงตามผลการวิจัยเท่านั้น แต่ยังส่งเสริมให้เกิดการเรียนรู้อันเป็นผลมาจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงและความรู้ใหม่ที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นในระหว่างกระบวนการวิจัย สำหรับนำมาใช้แก้ปัญหาหรือพัฒนาการศึกษาอย่างยั่งยืน

Abstract

Participatory Action Research (PAR) is an applied research that combines action research and participatory research. The key elements are Research, Action and Participatory. Intended to solve problems and develop society through the participation of community people. The research process and results will create learning and social change, as well as new knowledge. Cultivate relevant personnel with the potential to systematically seek knowledge, learn, and self solve problems. Once the research is completed, the research process will continue and emerge constantly to solve to address new issues faced by the community. PAR is the reflection of ideas, the exchange of learning, and the increase of knowledge. PAR leads to liberation, empowerment, and learning. PAR's role in education began in the 1940s, and was founded by Stephen Corey and others at Columbia University. Later, in the late 1950s, due to the lack of quantitative control research and statistical complexity,  it was criticized, and its popularity declined, which was conducted by teachers of amateur and non-scientific researchers. In 1970s, it was reintroduced in Brazil by Paulo Freire Freire and was widely popularized. PAR's research process brings many benefits to the academic community. Especially the benefits to students and teachers. Including improving the curriculum Improving the quality and standards of education. PAR process not only produces changes on the basis of research results, but also encourages learning. As a result of changes, new knowledge generated in the research process is used to implement, solve problems or improve the sustainable development of education.
