บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสร้างและตรวจสอบคุณภาพแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยความสามารถด้านการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาสุรินทร์ ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาสุรินทร์ จำนวน 370 คน จากโรงเรียน 13 แห่ง ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน (Multi-stage random sampling) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. แบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยความสามารถด้านการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษที่สร้างขึ้น มี 3 ตอน ตอนที่ 1 เรื่อง Present simple Tense จำนวน 10 ข้อ ตอนที่ 2 เรื่อง Present continuous Tense จำนวน 8 ข้อ และตอนที่ 3 เรื่อง Past simple Tense จำนวน 8 ข้อ 2. ความเที่ยงตรงตามเนื้อหาของแบบทดสอบเพื่อสำรวจหาจุดบกพร่อง ซึ่งประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญจำนวน 5 ท่าน พบว่า ข้อสอบทุกข้อสามารถวัดได้ตรงตามจุดประสงค์เชิงพฤติกรรมที่ต้องการวัดจริง 3. คุณภาพของแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัยที่สร้างขึ้น พบว่า ตอนที่ 1 เรื่อง Present simple Tense จำนวน 10 ข้อ มีค่าความยากของข้อสอบอยู่ในช่วง 0.61 ถึง 0.78 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก 0.21 ถึง 0.44 และค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.86 ตอนที่ 2 เรื่อง Present continuous Tense จำนวน 8 ข้อ มีค่าความยากของข้อสอบอยู่ในช่วง 0.64 ถึง 0.73 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก 0.26 ถึง 0.41 และค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.83 ตอนที่ 3 เรื่อง Past simple Tense จำนวน 8 ข้อ มีค่าความยากของข้อสอบอยู่ในช่วง 0.63 ถึง 0.77 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก 0.19 ถึง 0.52 และค่าความเชื่อมั่น 0.82 4. คะแนนจุดตัดของแบบทดสอบวินิจฉัย 26 ข้อ เท่ากับ 16 คะแนน

Abstract

The objective of this research was to construct and examine the quality of the English reading comprehension diagnostic test for Mathayom 2 students in schools under Surin Secondary Education Area Office. The sample was 370 Mathayom Suksa 2 students from 13 schools under Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office, selected through a multi-stage random sampling. The findings were as follows: 1. The constructed English reading comprehension diagnostic test was compiled in 3 parts: Part 1 “Present simple Tense” (10 questions), Part 2 “Present continuous Tense” (8 questions), and Part 3 “Past simple Tense” (8 questions). 2. Content validity of the constructed bug exploration test which was evaluated by 5 experts, found that all questions of the test could be measured in consistency with behavioral objectives. 3. The quality of the constructed English reading comprehension diagnostic test revealed that: Part 1, Present simple Tense, with 10 questions, the difficulty index of each item ranged from 0.61–0.78, the discrimination index ranged from 0.21-0.44, and the reliability of this part was 0.86. Part 2, Present continuous Tense, with 8 questions, the difficulty index of each item ranged from 0.64–0.73, the discrimination index ranged from 0.26-0.41, and the reliability of this part was 0.83. Part 3, Past simple Tense, with 8 questions, the difficulty index of each item ranged from 0.63–0.77, the discrimination index ranged from 0.19-0.52, and the reliability of this part was 0.82. 4. The cut-off score for the constructed 26-question English reading comprehension diagnostic test was 16 points.
